CALIFORNIA CONDORS

California Condors

This is a poem I wrote for my creative writing class in college entitled: CALIFORNIA CONDORS. I never considered myself a poet, but it was assignment. The day we went through these in class we had a substitute teacher who was a published poet. He was surprised I didn't consider myself a poet. Heck no....not me!

So this was me playing with alliteration, and you will find I will work this into The Yule King. So you can consider this a preview ;)

California Condors

cuddling

cool crystal crescents,

come

cawing callous cries,

convoking

crude congregations,

cascading convolutions

converge

crimson carrion.
